I'm a long time lover of stories, art, and music and have always been a creator at heart. As a child I devoured books, filled pages and pages of notebooks with my stories and journals, and spent many, many hours at the piano and violin. In 2011, inspired by other young bloggers and photographers, I picked up my mom's fancy camera and started to learn. I took photography classes, bought a camera of my own, and started a blog.
A lot has changed since then. I've been to England, Italy, Austria, and Germany, discovering a deep love for travel and adventure. I've attended and graduated college with a degree in Music Theory and Composition, and an even deeper passion for music. I met and married my first love, moved to Indiana and back again, and became a mom to the five cutest kids in the world; Gwen, Pippa, Hetty, Jo and David. Now I spend my days chasing toddlers, homeschooling big kids, cooking and baking, and trying to keep the house in order. But while my day to day life is remarkably different today, my interests and loves have mostly remained the same. I'm still very into languages (Latin! Greek! German!) and music (Van Halen! Taylor Swift! Howard Shore!). My heroes remain Bach and Tolkien and my favorite season is still winter. My tea cupboard is always full, our board game collection is always growing, and there's always a book (or three) on my bedside table.
Oh, and I'm still in love with strawberries.
