A Cure for Everything

These are the teacup and teapot I got from my grandmothers for my birthday.  Aren't they both perfectly lovely?  And because tea is my favorite drink, what could be better than to finish off this post with a couple quotes about it?

You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.  ~ C. S. Lewis

A cup of tea would restore my normality. ~Douglas Adams

As far as her mom was concerned, tea fixed everything.  Have a cold?  Have some tea.  Broken bones?  There's a tea for that too.  Somwhere in her mother's pantry, Laurel suspected, was a box of tea that said 'In case of Armageddon, steep three to five minutes'.  ~Aprilynne Pike

There are few house in life more agreeable than the hour d
edicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea. ~ Henry James

Some people will tell you there is a great deal of poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

While there is tea, there is hope.  ~ Arthur Wing
Pinero

There are few nicer things than sitting up in bed, drinking strong tea, and reading.  ~ Alan Clark
