For the Love of Flowers

There are flowers blooming in our front yard and it makes me oh-so-happy every time I see them.  They're the perfect subject for my new lens (I'm still learning with it) and I would be lying if I said I didn't love photographing their pretty purple petals. While we don't have many flowers, and we certainly do not have a garden, even just these few which we do have bring beauty to the grass surrounding them.  Aren't they just lovely?
