2013 was not an easy year. It started off with my Grandma suddenly and unexpectedly falling asleep in Christ. This past semester has been the hardest one yet, causing me loads of worry and stress and hours upon hours of homework. Even the Desolation of Smaug, which I had been so looking forward to, turned out to be nothing but a disappointment. But there were also wonderful things about 2013: Camp Luther (twice!), a trip to Chicago, Higher Things, turning 18, and many other events. And as always there remain the small memories that make 2013 a wonderful year. Here are just a few of them...

355. Richard Armitage fangirling fests at Camp in January
356. My first ever car trip/vacation without my parents
357. The knowledge that my grandma is in heaven, no longer suffering in this valley of sorrows
358. Eating lunch every day with good friends
359. Taking pictures for a wedding for the first time
360. Watching and reading North and South for the first time
361. Seeing the surprise in our friends' faces when we showed up on their doorstep
362. Belting out One Day More with friends
363. Playing Sequence with cousins over spring break
364. Listening to the 1300 songs (and growing) in my favorite soundtrack playlist
365. Taking snapshots of random people in big cities
366. Learning about the Old and Middle English, augmented 6th chords, dactylic hexameter, and Jehu's purge
367. Filming a music video in the middle of a mall and in downtown Chicago
268. Driving to Camp with my sister, eating fruit and singing the whole way
269. Seeing the Doctor Who 50th anniversary episode
370. Finishing my hardest semester yet with straight As
371. Having a tea party for my 18th birthday
372. Burning incense in our new smoker
373. All those wonderful times Chem lab was cancelled
374. English Country Dancing at Higher Things
375. All of the conversations, laughs and inside jokes I've shared with family and friends
