Christ is Risen!

It was a strange and dreadful strife
When life and death contended;
The victory remained with life,
The reign of death was ended.
Holy Scripture plainly saith
That death is swallowed up by death,
Its sting is lost forever. Alleluia!

Wait, she's only posting about Easter now, two and a half weeks later?!? Doesn't she know that Easter is long gone?

Why no, Easter isn't long gone. Easter is still very much here. And it will be around for a few more weeks, still! Hurray! Rejoice! Go greet a few more people with "Christ is risen, He is risen indeed, Alleluia!" Go sing some more awesome Easter hymns (like Christ Jesus Lay In Death's Strong Bands, which is just the greatest ever). And for heaven's sake, go to church again and again and again, where it's always Easter and where Jesus always is. Not in some weird, abstract, 'in your heart', way, but very concretely there in the Word and bodily and physically there in the Sacrament. And then feast, and feast a lot, because the victory has been won. And food is always a good way to celebrate. Remember, even during the stressful time right before finals that, though Jesus lay in death's strong bands, "now at God's right hand He stands and brings us life from heaven" and there is no power in heaven or on earth that can separate us from Him. "Christ alone our souls will feed, He is our meat and drink indeed; faith lives upon no other."

And then sing some more. People just don't sing enough these days.
