Indianapolis Trip

A month ago, to celebrate the end of busy season and because we both reaaaaaaally needed a break, Nick and I took a little weekend trip down south to Indy and Brown County, and to visit my Grandma. It was a fun little trip, and so nice to get away and do something together after some long months. Even though we're hoping to cross off another state off our list later this year (California here we come!), we're counting this trip as our Indiana visit towards our 50 state goal.

After our day in Indy, we took a picnic lunch to Brown County and planned to do some hiking in the woods. Not pictured below is the massive poop explosion we discovered upon arriving at the state park, with no trash cans in sight. To make matters worse, there was nowhere in the bathroom to change her, and we were almost out of wipes. What a start to a day! However, we somehow managed to clean her up, stuffed her dirty clothes in the ziplock bags we brought along for our sandwiches, and had our picnic anyway.

Eventually, she fell asleep with dad, as we hiked along the bike paths and tried not to get lost.

We spent the rest of the trip hanging out with Mamaw, and watching quality tv (HGTV and Food Network, of course). ;)
