"Camp is just my favorite, mom"
Well, how could it not be when it involves...
playing in the sand and the cool lake in the hot sun,
kayak rides with family and friends,
hiking through the tall and silent trees,
pretending to be statues on every tree stump you can find,
coloring and making mischief in the cabins,
building your own special fort,
participating in the annual soccer golf matches (and some of us getting a birdie on death valley!)
playing and swinging daily at the park
porch sitting with some good books,
playing at (or sleeping through) the covered wagons, towers, and other structures
and enjoying all the beauty of Fall. Camp, we all can't wait to come back to you.
