Hum dum dum ditty dum
Hum dum dum
Hum dum dum
Oh the wind is lashing lustily
And the trees are thrashing thrustily
And the leaves are rustling gustily
So it's rather safe to say
That it seems that it may turn out to be
It feels that it will undoubtedly
It looks like a rather blustery day, today
It sounds that it may turn out to be
Feels that it will undoubtedly
Looks like a rather blustery day today
And the trees are thrashing thrustily
And the leaves are rustling gustily
So it's rather safe to say
That it seems that it may turn out to be
It feels that it will undoubtedly
It looks like a rather blustery day, today
It sounds that it may turn out to be
Feels that it will undoubtedly
Looks like a rather blustery day today
Lately it's been rainy, cold, and yes, windy. The trees have been mostly stripped of their leaves, almost all of the corn has been harvested, and Pooh Bear's blustery day song comes to mind constantly. Midterms are approaching and I'm working multiple nights every week. Songs from movies I haven't seen in years have been coming back to me for inexplicable reasons (Pure Imagination from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory anyone?) and every little thing has been reminding me of Europe. Right now, I'm sitting at home in a cozy chair reading/editing a book, listening to the RotK complete recordings, and watching the outside temperature slowly drop down to its predicted low of 26.
If you would have been eavesdropping on our family this week you would have overheard some interesting conversations, including:
Abby: You're going to go to the midnight premier without us!?!?!?!
Me: Of course we're not going to go see The Hobbit without you, we wouldn't last the night!
Abby: You would be dead before you came home.
So yes, obsession runs high in our family. As does threatening death I guess. We're all just a bunch of obsessive psychopaths over here, waiting to strike. Psychopaths who still watch Winnie the Pooh, that is.
Happy Windsday!
