I interviewed each person in my family about our trip, their favorite cities, foods, memories and other such questions. Over the next few weeks I will be posting them here for you to enjoy. This way you can hear not just my opinions on our trip, but everyone else's thoughts as well. First up, Abby, my youngest sister.
Favorite City?
Rome, because I liked seeing the museums with the Ancient Greek and Egyptian artifacts.
One place you wish you had stayed longer?
Reutte, Austria
The coolest thing you saw?
The Trevi Fountain in Rome
Something you remember being different from America?
The cobblestone streets
What was your favorite purchase?
My quill pen from the medieval museum in Reutte, Austria.
Something that you thought was funny on the trip?
We saw a model posing for pictures on the Spanish Steps in Rome and we thought it was funny. So we took some ourselves and we still have them.
What was the prettiest thing you saw?
The flowers in Wittenberg
What is one of your favorite memories?
Watching Die Falsche Princessen, some German soap opera, the night Dad, Mom, and Sam went out to eat without the rest of us.
How were the plane rides?
The first plane ride (to Toronto) was awful- it was small and squished and there was nothing to do. The plane to Italy was great, we watched an Italian movie on the way. The plane ride home was amazing, we all watched Captain America.
How was the train ride?
It was like the Hogwarts Express- amazing!
What was your favorite museum/object in a museum?
My favorite museum was the Vatican, with all the Egyptian and Greek artifacts. My favorite thing in a museum was the statute of Laocoon, his sons, and the snakes.
Anything else you want to talk about?
I loved the luge ride! It was curvy/fun/fast/cool/amazing/great.
I like all of your trip posts, but these are especially cool It's so neat to see from someone else's view. :)
