Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The church was filled with the singing of hymns
The words of the Gospel, the forgiveness of sins.
When the family came home they rushed to the tree
Awaiting their presents anxiously;
A wand, a shirt, a magazine,
A sonic screwdriver glowing green,
Doctor Who postcards and bookmarks galore,
Ribbons and wrappings across the floor.
5 photo albums from our trip oversea
Lovely linens and lots of tea,
Juggling balls and a couple of mugs,
Lots of smiles and lots of hugs.
Yes, the night before Christmas, filled with joy and cheer,
Is the most wonderful night of all the year.

I notice that you didn't mention my presents in the poem. (cough, cough)
