This year we put a Christmas tree on our porch and filled the window boxes with pine branches and ornaments. Our house has never looked so festive. It looks even better once the snow has lined the branches and made a decoration of its own. On the last day of the year it snowed again and I took a few photos. There are some things that are just too beautiful to be adequately portrayed on camera. Snow is one of those things. But that doesn't stop me from trying every time I see it gently falling to the ground.
