I miss you, Rome

A few of the things I will never stop missing about Rome:

gelato
the lilting cadence of Italian
being only a short walk from the Colosseum
pizza margherita
walking on the same streets that Cicero walked on
umbrella trees
the gorgeous paintings in the Sistine Chapel
the "nose" water fountains
our perfect apartment
Latin everywhere
the breathtaking Pieta in the gigantic St. Peter's Basilica
