One year ago today we were flying across the world, anxiously awaiting our first sight of the Eternal City. We tried to contain our excitement enough to sleep on the plane, but that isn't as easy as it sounds. One year ago today was the beginning of three of the best weeks of my life. And there isn't a day I don't wish I could go back.
